Frequently Asked Questions

To participate in the Idea-Action program, it is not necessary to have a company. You can present an idea, an initiative, a solution or a prototype, whether it is tested or not.
Idée-Action is open to multidisciplinary groups from all backgrounds. Whether you are a researcher, a creative, a young professional, or a tech enthusiast, your ideas are welcome. Key sectors include Agriculture, Education, Tourism, Finance, Logistics, Trade and Crafts, Digital Innovation, and Public Services.
No. Projects that are already mature enough for incubation are not eligible for the Idée-Action program.
Selection is managed by our program operator, CcHUB, alongside local experts. Only shortlisted applicants will be notified. Successful candidates will receive structured support, ranging from training and mentorship to the opportunity to join the full pre-incubation program.
No. Participation in the Idée-Action program is entirely free of charge.
Yes, residency in Lomé is required for this first cohort.
Djanta Tech Hub is committed to project confidentiality. Our jury members and mentors adhere to strict ethical guidelines. Your innovation remains your exclusive property once your business is registered. However, Djanta Tech Hub cannot guarantee global exclusivity of your concept or prevent similar projects from being developed by third parties elsewhere.
The program requires teams of at least three (03) complementary profiles (e.g., one Tech, one Marketing, and one Management). A sustainable business is built on teamwork. If you are solo, we encourage you to form a team before the application deadline.
A complementary profile is someone whose skills differ from yours but are essential to the project. The goal is to avoid having a team where everyone has the same expertise. By combining your talents, you cover all the project’s needs: Building, Selling, and Managing.
The program is demanding, but its structure is designed to respect your schedule. With a training calendar set in advance, both professionals and students can manage their participation with flexibility.
While the program is primarily conducted in English, we provide French-language support to ensure smooth progress for all participants.
Choosing English is a strategic move to prepare our entrepreneurs for the global market. Our dream is to help launch the first Togolese Unicorn. By mastering English terminology and business codes now, our talents gain the tools to pitch to global investors, forge international partnerships, and export Togolese excellence far beyond our borders.
